As a BI Ops Engineer in the Business Analytics Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business intelligence infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our BI tools (e.g., Looker), ensuring data quality and availability, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating with Data Engineering and IT teams to optimize our data pipelines. Your expertise will empower data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing a reliable and scalable BI platform and supporting key analyses that align with company growth and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

BI Platform Management:

• Manage and administer BI tools (e.g., Looker).

• Prepare analysis for critical business initiatives.

• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Ensure DBT models are in line for analytics layer.

Data Quality and Availability:

• Ensure data quality and integrity.

• Monitor data pipelines and identify potential issues.

• Develop and implement data validation processes.

• Work with Data Platform/Analytics Engineering to resolve data-related problems.

Performance Optimization:

• Analyze and optimize BI platform performance.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Implement caching and query optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipeline optimization.

Automation and Monitoring:

• Automate data refresh and other routine tasks.

• Develop monitoring dashboards and alerts.

• Implement logging and auditing processes.

• Continuously improve operational efficiency.

Support Strategic Analysis:

• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand company growth objectives.

• Provide insights and tools that support analysis on revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure the BI platform delivers accurate and timely data to inform strategic decisions.

• Support the development of dashboards and reports that track KPIs aligned with the company’s main objectives.

About You:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Ops Engineer with a passion for technology and a strong understanding of data management principles. You should be a problem-solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of experience in BI operations, data engineering, or a related role.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with BI platforms (e.g., Looker).

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

• Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.

Location: This role follows a hybrid-remote setup and is based in Poland, with a primary focus on Łódź.
