As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global People & Payroll Operations Manager to join our team in Poland. This role will be pivotal in spearheading the evolution of our global People and Payroll function. This is your opportunity to establish and elevate our operational excellence, driving efficiency and success from the ground up.
What you`ll do:
Strategic Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing global People & Payroll Operations team (8-10 FTEs), establishing clear SLAs and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
Partner with the People & Culture leadership to design and implement a new, efficient People Operations model.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee global payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective vendor management.
Drive process improvements across all HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and data management, leveraging technology for automation.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and GDPR across supported regions.
HRIS & Transformation:
Provide strategic input and support to the consolidation of HRIS systems, ensuring smooth adoption and training.
Lead specific people projects to support the ongoing integration of the businesses.
Stakeholder & Reporting:
Cultivate strong relationships with global stakeholders, providing exceptional service and insightful HR analytics to drive informed decisions.
Who You Are:
A seasoned leader with 10+ years of experience in People and Payroll operations, ideally in a global shared services environment.
Proven expertise in leading and developing international teams across diverse regions (Nordics, EMEA, North America).
Deep understanding of global payroll processes, regulations, and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, HiBob).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus.
Strong understanding of data privacy regulations e.g GDPR.
Experience engaging with Workers Councils.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
