The Role
We are looking for an IT Security Operations and IAM Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s information security operations and Identity Access Management (IAM) practices. This leadership position will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, and drive initiatives to integrate security measures across the organization. You will be responsible for leading a team in a strategic and operational capacity, supporting both our cybersecurity and identity management efforts.
You will contribute & make an impact through:
Cyber Security Operations: Manage daily security operations, monitor systems, conduct risk assessments, and respond to incidents.
Incident Response: Support investigations into security breaches, ensuring alignment with security protocols.
Compliance & Risk Management: Help ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI, ISO, and NIST, while managing risk.
IAM Strategy: Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures, ensuring secure access to systems and data.
System Integrations: Design and implement IAM services, integrating with third-party applications for secure authentication and authorization.
Project Leadership: Lead IAM projects, from system migrations to onboarding new systems, ensuring they are delivered within budget and scope.
Team Management: Support and guide the IAM team to ensure alignment with policies and the organization’s security goals.
About You
You are a highly skilled and respected engineering and people leader with significant experience in both IT security operations and Identity and Access Management. You thrive in a leadership role and are passionate about scaling geographically dispersed teams and creating strong IT cultures. You possess excellent emotional intelligence and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with executives and stakeholders across the organization. You’re a forward-thinking leader who can take initiative, manage complex projects, and drive results.
Your background
We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:
5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles, with a strong technical background.
8-12 years of managerial experience, leading teams within security operations or IAM.
Expertise in security technologies and protocols such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
Solid experience in IAM technologies, access control systems, and authentication/authorization protocols.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience managing vendor relationships and offshore teams.
