This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the EasyPark team as Engineering Manager for the data platform team. In this role you’ll oversee the team’s people, processes, delivery and drive the data platform evolution and collaborate with customer teams and stakeholders.

The role

As the Engineering Manager for our data platform team, you will lead a distributed team of data engineers dedicated to building and scaling our global data platform. We believe in lean and agile principles, where team members feel and exercise ownership and responsibility to navigate toward goals and achieve their mission.

Your role will include: refining the team’s delivery processes and operational maturity, engaging with internal customers and stakeholders across the company to build, prioritize and communicate the team’s roadmap. Your experience in crafting technical platforms in other organizations will bring valuable insights, while your open-mindedness will help shape our approach to data overall.

You will contribute & make an impact through the following:

• Lead and grow a distributed high-performing team by providing mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance while fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.

• Contributing to and promoting a healthy and agile software development culture with sustainable delivery

• Together with the team, shape the vision for the data platform’s future, aligned with business priorities and technical goals. You inspire the team to innovate and successfully bring that vision to life. You communicate and evangelize that vision and the roadmap to achieve it

• Taking on responsibility for the team’s delivery, and the technical health of the data platform as well as its architectural evolution

About You

• You bring experience as a leader of an agile development team with great talent, ideally in the infrastructure and platform development areas

• You have a passion for continuous learning and improvement

• You are a great communicator, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

• You enjoy leading change in a fast-growing and scaling company

• You have interest in / expertise in modern cloud-based data warehouses and data modeling and governance practices

This role is based at the EasyPark headquarters in Stockholm/ Sweden, and we expect you to be in the office at least a couple of days a week. Fluency in English is required for this position (Swedish is not needed).
