Accounts Receivable Manager (Europe)
Do you want to work as an Accounts Receivable Manager (Europe) in an entrepreneurial and international environment? EasyPark is a rapidly growing tech company with a mission to make cities more livable. In this role, you will be part of the Financial Control team in our Europe accounting department.
What you will be doing
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will have ownership over accounts receivable across the European markets. You will team lead two AR specialists and be responsible for the collection of all invoiced debt across Europe. You will make sure that our 3rd party dunning and debt collection partners are delivering the grade-A service expected and work with them and our other payment/invoicing partners as well as our internal product teams to continually evaluate new ways to optimize our business. We would expect you to have regular reviews with our partners regarding their performance and service levels. For those markets where we do not utilize a 3rd party partner, you ensure that there is no overdue debt, and you will work with the relevant teams across EPG (e.g. product, technology & data teams) to resolve any queries. As a subject matter expert on AR, you will be expected to support and advise EPG on all areas of AR best practice. You will be responsible for all AR reporting across the region, and you will own all the AR policies across Europe. As the AR Manager (Europe) you will be driving a process of continuous improvement at both an individual market and regional level.
How can you have an impact?
As the AR Manager (Europe) you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the group through the reduction in aged debt and credit losses (bad debt) by proactively managing the outstanding debt collection processes and providing timely and accurate collections data to support operational business improvements and support cash forecasting.
Is this you?
To be a success in this role you will need to have 5+ years’ experience within a multinational business in a similar role, with previous experience in dealing with 3rd party invoicing/payment processing partners, dunning and collection providers in a relationship manager role, and a passion for driving process improvements. You should also have a working knowledge of pan-European collection legislation & practices. Experience working with payment processors would be an advantage. You would need strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English, additional European languages would be advantageous but not essential.
This role is based in Stockholm.
