About your role:
EasyPark is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong technical background to join our growing Analytics Data Science team. You will collaborate with talented data scientists and partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution, as well as new business areas, to deliver data-driven insights and impactful solutions across the organization. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in providing value to various departments.
At EasyPark, we leverage a modern data stack, including AWS, Snowflake, and DBT, to ensure our data processes are efficient and scalable. Our goal is to empower teams with self-service analytics through tools like Looker and Streamlit.
Some of the areas we are currently focusing on or planning to explore include supporting sales by generating and optimizing leads to attract more users to our platform, finding fraudulent accounts, and providing tools and insights to our organization to take the next best action.
You will play a key role in advancing EasyPark’s data capabilities, ensuring that data insights are effectively integrated into decision-making processes across the organization
Key responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition to production deployment.
Working with cross-functional teams on joint projects.
Identify and address technical hurdles in developing scalable data science solutions, collaborating with the Tech Lead on best practices.
Take ownership and ensure the ongoing maintenance of developed solutions.
Promote data literacy throughout the organization by mentoring and educating non-data professionals to build analytical skills.
Continuously learn about and implement the newest data science trends and technologies to drive team improvement and innovation.
Transform intricate data insights into practical business strategies, contributing to strategic discussions.
What you’ll bring to the team
At least 3 years experience working as a data scientist.
- Technical:
Strong experience with Python and relevant data science libraries.
Proficiency in working with databases and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Knowledge of best practices in regards to software development.
Experience working with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Airflow).
- Soft skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to dive deep into data to uncover insights.
Prioritize by impact and be self driven.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
A PhD in a relevant area (e.g. mobility or Machine Learning) or a Software Engineering background is a plus.
English is our business language, so you should be comfortable speaking and writing in English at a professional level.
Location: This role follows a hybrid-remote setup and is based in Poland, with a primary focus on Łódź.
