The Team

We are now growing our team with two UX designers and you will be a centerpiece of the holistic design process for the EasyPark services. You will work together with your team to identify customer needs, conceptualise new designs, and ultimately deliver high-fidelity mockups to our developers. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at EasyPark. Since we are always striving to make our service the easiest and fastest way to park, we need to be on the front lines to understand our users' needs and to be user-centered in how we approach problems. We need to validate our assumptions, design intuitive interactions to improve our services, and settle on the most appropriate visual expression to form a cohesive whole. 

#1 UX Designer for our Innovations team

We are here to change the world. That’s why we are building the world’s most intelligent platform and apps to help drivers around the world to not only pay for parking, but to guide them to available parking space. When drivers waste less time looking for parking, it will not only be a great user experience, but it also leads to less pollution, congestion and frustration for everyone who lives in our cities. 

As part of the Innovation team, you will do design and implementation that pushes the boundaries of what parking experiences can offer.  Together you’ll do a lot of experimentation and you are always striving to think outside of the box. You will need to conceptualise a lot of new ideas and test them in real scenarios. You will be designing both for new types of interfaces, and new types of experiences. 

You will contribute & make an impact through:

  • having a strong drive to conceptualise, iterate and re-iterate, to challenge conventions. 
  • being aware of user patterns in contextual settings, and you will use your imaginative force to change the established way our users view parking services. Simply put, you understand user behaviour and can figure out how to change it.
  • on the one hand you will be working in established interfaces to bring new user experiences and on the other you will work in new interfaces to create hyper focused implementations of our proven world-leading parking experience. You enjoy the challenge of this duality and are not afraid of context switching between the two.
  • having a good eye for visual design that harmonises with our established visual expression, since you’ll be delivering high-fidelity designs at the end of the design process

About you

You are excellent at communicating your design decisions to the rest of the team and know how to decide on the best implementation together with the developers. We believe you are highly motivated by breaking conventions and treading new grounds.

#2 UX designer for our Operations Team

Our ambition is not only to build class-leading consumer parking experiences, but also to create the world’s most powerful parking management tools to help empower our customers and partners to digitalise their parking operations. 

You will be working closely with an international team of product managers and developers - both in-house and remote - to help shape the vision for the future of these services. You will be creating intuitive desktop-based responsive design for several different interfaces. 

You’ll help to bring design consistency across several products, and as you’ll be delivering high-fidelity designs at the end of the design process you have a good eye for visual design. 

You will contribute & make an impact through:

  • a strong understanding of dashboard interface design and how to visualise complex data in a clear and engaging way. 
  • a clear knowledge of common web design patterns and can guide users in both linear and non-linear ways. 
  • knowing how to create user friendly administrative backend services, as well as focused self-service design for the consumer facing side. 
  • building on existing design but will improve how these services look and behave like together with many stakeholders. 
  • collaborating with the Core Team to implement some of these features into other interfaces like the app, so ideally you have experience both in web and app design.

About you

We believe you are excellent at prioritisation and setting clear expectations for the team, as well as being able to clearly communicate design decisions.  You are naturally humble, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you are used to both sharing and receiving feedback and insights from and to your team and stakeholder group. 

Your background 

We don’t think one size fits all, but the successful candidate for either of these 2 roles might have the following:

  • experience in implementing design in products that are currently live
  • experience in identifying pain points in the user journey
  • comfortable using design tools - we use Figma!
  • love being data informed; you have experience in using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform your design decisions
  • the ability to work independently with cross-functional and remote teams 
  • excellent language skills in English 

Depending on the role you express interest in, it would be a bonus if you have 

  • A/B testing experience 
  • worked in an experimental design fashion
  • experience in responsive web design and/or Dashboards
