Firstly, a bit about the team

As a UX Writer you’ll work out of a 5 people strong, central team to support some 15 designers and other cross functional partners throughout the product organization. Aside from UX writing, this central team also covers UX Research and design leadership.  The wider product organization consists of over 450 talented specialists within product, engineering, design and analytics, located in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Basingstoke, Tallinn and Atlanta.

What you’ll be doing

As a UX Writer you’ll be responsible for the content and microcopy in the products you help design. You’ll work with designers, UX researchers, developers, and product owners to make sure both business and consumer users have an enjoyable, consistent, and efficient experience with our products. You’ll report to the UX Writing Lead and work cross functionally with different product teams.  

Key responsibilities:

• Create and manage content and microcopy for our products, both apps and web-based. 

• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, developers, and product owners on user journeys, testing, and developing our user experience

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our style guide and glossary 

• Contribute to improving our localization process and translation management for our 20+ markets

• Contribute to audits and documentation to make sure we stay consistent in our language and tonality

• Help turn data and research insights into ways to keep making our copy better

What you’ll bring to the team

• We expect you to have 4+ years of experience in UX Writing

• Work-fluent in English, preferably also in one or more additional languages like German, French, Spanish, or Italian

• Experience working with cross functional teams, preferably in a product/SaaS context.

• Great communications skills – able to explain or relay complex topics in very succinct and effective ways. Particularly in written form, but also verbally.

• Track record of product-thinking, outcome-centric, high quality projects.

• Enough know-how in design tools, chiefly Figma, to be able to collaborate closely with other designers. 

• Understanding of, or skills in, UX research, product design, motion design, and/or design systems, are seen as beneficial.

• Previous experience from managing localization and translation to many different markets would also be a bonus
