EasyPark Group is a global company and a true leader in its domain. There is a clear ambition to quickly grow in coverage and offer our services to more customers and partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the EasyPark team as a Design Lead. You will play a key role in our future success and have a true opportunity to make a real impact and difference for our users and our business!
Firstly, a bit about the team
The Design system team at EasyPark is fairly newly formed, but is set to serve the full product organisation with a fully- fledged design system.
You’ll work as one of two designers in the team and, together with a product manager and three engineers, help shape the overall direction for the experiences we provide to our user base of over 30 million monthly active users across more than 20 countries. The system will be leveraged across several ecosystems, including iOS and Android apps, wearables, automotive integrations as well as several web- based platforms.
As the system isn’t yet fully featured or fleshed out you’ll have plenty of opportunities to influence the overall direction of the system, from high level structure to nitty gritty details.
The wider product organisation consists of over 450 talented specialists within product, engineering, design and analytics, located in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Basingstoke, Tallinn and Atlanta. The design team is 15 people strong, with 12 product designers, 2 UX Researchers, plus a head of product design.
What you’ll be doing
As a product designer at EasyPark you’ll work within a cross- functional team to help ship experiences and solutions used and relied upon in the day- to- day by our over 30 million monthly active users. You’re expected to take strong ownership and have a big impact on the products the team you’re working in are responsible for. This will happen both through leveraging solid ways of working as well as outstanding craft skills.
In your day- to- day you’ll spend time doing hands-on work, creating flows, mockups and prototypes. Spending time in meetings and workshops with close collaborators and senior stakeholders will also be a natural and frequent occurrence, and you’ll often act as a facilitator in these sessions.
You’re expected to have a proactive outlook, helping ensure that priorities are set with a user- centric perspective in mind, as well as identifying and proposing additional opportunities, based on insights, trends or your well-thought intuition.
Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of the quality of the design system and work closely with a cross- functional team to enable others across the wider product organisation to deliver outstanding products, features and solutions to our users.
Help ensure that the design system team enables shipping top quality, impactful solutions.
Create all types of design artefacts with ease and efficiency. This includes for instance user journeys, wireframes, high fidelity mockups and prototypes. And of course pixel perfect, easy to use components for use by others.

Leverage data, insights and user research to inform your day- to- day work.
Represent design and user perspectives in high level discussions with key stakeholders. Facilitate sessions and workshops whenever necessary.
Work transparently towards both your closest collaborators as well as the wider design team and organisation, to share learnings, findings and ensure consistency across flows and touchpoints. Initiate collaboration when needed.
Work closely with the design system team to ensure components and patterns are being leveraged appropriately, help expand the system when necessary.
Contribute towards the overall success of the product design function at EasyPark.

About EasyPark Group
We build smarter, more livable cities – one parking spot at a time. With the use of technology, we break barriers and improve the urban life experience. We help cities balance parking supply and driver demand – not by adding additional parking spots or reducing the number of cars, but with the help of predictive technology and data visualization.
We also help cities become more sustainable by eliminating congestion, increasing efficiency and enabling a smooth experience for charging electric vehicles.
The EasyPark team consists of almost 1000 people representing over 55 nationalities across more than 20 countries, all working toward the common goal of making urban life easier.
In 2021, EasyPark Group acquired the global provider of digital parking services, PARK NOW Group, including the apps Parkmobile, RingGo and Park-line.
