Junior Account Manager/Area Sales Manager

In this role you are based in Rome and will work as a salesperson and account manager and engage with multiple customers in Italy and at the same time work closely with EasyPark’s global team located in Sweden, Italy and multiple other countries.  We are looking for a junior sales professional, who will meet customers on a daily basis, bring home new customers and boost business with existing ones. What you will be doing
As Junior Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager in EasyPark you are called a Smart Parking Manager (SPM), a role in which you will be responsible for progress and results with partners, mainly consisting of cities and private parking operators in various parts of Italy.

Being able to cooperate at all levels is essential since a great part of the communication with the partners will be directly with CEOs of city-owned mobility companies and “Assessori” from Italian municipalities as well as a diversity of other people with whom you will interact in this role.

The SPM role is broad, mixing sales and business skills with the ability to establish new partnerships as well as developing and maintaining existing ones. The role covers everything from analysis, initial customer prospect contact, pre-sales, making agreements, and follow through implementation to train the partner’s staff. The whole way you will lead and guide the partners towards full digitalization of their parking activities. Since this is a junior role we don't expect you to master all these parts initially, but you have strong drive to develop and grow with the responsibility you are given.

To fit this role you must meet the following

  • Italian mother tongue or C2.  English B2 or above
  • Around 2 years work experience in sales to business (B2B sales) or account management
  • Knowledge of a sales/CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar) as well as basic office systems (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, GSuite)
  • Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time

Other important qualifications (the more you have - the better!)

  • Consulting experience
  • Work experience with Italian public administration (comuni)
  • Knowledge/ work experience of the mobility, parking industry
  • Experience in IT (software, hardware, systems integration)

  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand how to address  the customers’ needs
  • Ability to design strong and convincing presentations
  • Ability to design, structure, and present business cases for potential and current partners
  • Ability to manage the complete sales process, from lead generation to deal making and implementation
  • Ability to prioritize, optimize and balance time and resource
