The Role

In this role, you will work as a sales professional and account manager engaging with multiple partners in Italy. You will also get the opportunity to collaborate with EasyPark’s global team located in Sweden, Italy and many other countries across the world. You will meet customers on a weekly basis, sign new customers and boost business with existing ones.

This role is based at the Rome office of EasyPark in Italy.

Your contribution and impact

EasyPark is helping cities and private parking operators digitize their parking processes, which means deploying all of our software services to achieve full digitization. Through the data we collect, we provide new insights to cities and private parking operators allowing them to manage their assets in ways that has never been possible before.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for progress and results with partners, mainly consisting of cities and private parking operators. You will be in close contact with CEOs of city-owned mobility companies and “Assessori” from Italian municipalities. The role is broad: mixing sales and business skills with the ability to establish new partnerships, as well as developing and maintaining existing ones. The role covers everything from analysis, initial customer prospect contact, pre-sales, negotiating agreements, and entails training the partner’s staff through the implementation. You will lead and guide the partners all the way towards full digitization of their parking activities.

  • Ability to handle a broad variety of tasks
  • Naturally collaborative with great problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid understanding of stakeholder management

  • Energetic and proactive with the will to eagerly follow up
  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand how to address the partner and/or customers’ needs and how to adapt the EasyPark concept accordingly
  • Ability to structure and present strong business cases for potential and current partners.
  • Analytical in order to understand the progress of the partner’s parking business
  • Willingness to travel 60% - 80% of the time


Your background

We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in business to business sales and/or account management
  • Previous work experience with public administrations or Italian municipalities (comuni)
  • Relevant University degree
  • Knowledge of a sales/CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar) as well as basic office systems (e.g. word, excel, PowerPoint, email)
  • Knowledge /work experience of the mobility, parking industry
  • Experience in selling IT solutions (software, hardware, systems integration)

Language Requirement:

  • Italian mother tongue or C2
  • English level B2 is required (The screen call will be in English)
