In this role you will work as an account manager and sales person, engaging with multiple customers in Italy and at the same time work closely with EasyPark’s global team located in Sweden, Italy and multiple other countries. For our Milan office, we are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience in account management and business-to-business field sales. A good level of English is required in this role, as this is the corporate language at Easypark.

The EasyPark app, which lets drivers find and pay for parking, is our flagship product. It is currently available in 19 European markets and Australia. We count our user base in the millions, have tremendous growth and our services enable substantial benefits and new value generation opportunities not only to motorists. Cities and parking operators stand to benefit greatly too when drivers waste less time looking for parking and both public and private space is used more effectively. With the urban population doubling over the next 20 years, transportation systems need to become twice as effective, which makes the services we are creating an essential part of making cities smarter and more sustainable.

As Area Account Manager you will work daily with both cities and private parking operators in the northern area of Italy. We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience in account management with a business-to-business sales background, who will communicate with customers on a daily basis, mainly in order to maintain the relationship and boost the business between Easypark and the customer. Easypark is helping cities and operators digitize their parking processes which means deploying all our software services in the right order to achieve full digitization. Through the data we collect we can provide new levels of insight to cities and operators that will allow them to manage their assets in ways that they have never been able to before.


Your contribution and impact

As area account manager you will be responsible for progress and results with partners, mainly consisting of cities and private parking operators in the northern area of Italy.

Being able to cooperate at executive level is essential as a great part of the communication with the partners will be directly with CEOs of city-owned mobility companies and “Assessori” from Italian municipalities. The role is broad, mixing business skills in developing and maintaining current customer relationships with the ability to establish new partnerships. The role covers everything from keeping a superb and proactive dialogue with existing customers, analysis of the customer business, renewing contracts, and developing the business with the customer to full digitization. Initial customer prospect contact, pre-sales, negotiating agreements, as well as training the partner’s staff through the implementation is also a part of the role. You will lead and guide the partners all the way towards full digitization of their parking activities.

About you

  • Self-starter with a doer attitude and the desire to learn and improve
  • Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills
  • Able to handle a broad variety of tasks, from high-profile to very practical
  • Naturally collaborative with great problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid understanding of stakeholder management
  • Energetic and proactive with the will to eagerly follow up
  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand how to address the partner and/or customers’ needs and how to adapt the EasyPark concept accordingly
  • Able to structure and present strong business cases for potential and current partners.
  • Analytical in order to understand the progress of the partner’s parking business


Your background 

We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • At least 3 years of account management and 2+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
  • Previous work experience with public administrations and Italian municipalities (comuni)
  • Knowledge of a sales/CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar) as well as basic office systems (e.g. word, excel, powerpoint, email)
  • Knowledge / work experience of the mobility, parking industry
  • Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time
  • Experience in IT (software, hardware, systems integration)
  • Native Italian speaker or C2 level of Italian as well as English level B2 is required in this role

This role is based at Easypark's Milan office.
